This approach requires more staff, more training, and more time per dog — and it results in calmer, happier dogs who actually enjoy coming back.

Unlike high-volume facilities, we limit our numbers so we can:

   •    Thoughtfully match playgroups

   •    Provide frequent breaks and decompression

   •    Monitor body language closely

   •    Step in early before stress escalates

We have trained staff on site throughout the night, every night.

We never house unrelated dogs together overnight.

All sleeping areas are reserved for one family at a time, with multiple options depending on your dog’s needs:

   •    Open, home-style rooms

   •    Private Zen Dens for quiet-seeking dogs

   •    Bedroom with overnight staff for dogs who need extra support

This drastically reduces stress, resource guarding, and nighttime anxiety — and it’s one of the biggest reasons dogs settle so well here.

Every member of the Fur Seasons team is Dog Handler Academy (DHA) certified and Fear Free Certified, ensuring a shared foundation in:

   •    Fear-free, force-free handling

   •    Reading canine body language and stress signals

   •    Structured play and intentional decompression

   •    Safe group management and risk prevention

Our team follows clearly defined protocols for:

   •    Introductions and thoughtful playgroup matching

   •    Feeding and medication handling

   •    Overnight supervision

   •    Cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures

Because our care is standards-driven, not improvised, your dog receives calm, thoughtful, and consistent care — regardless of which trained team member is on duty.

This allows us to uphold high expectations while continuing to grow and evolve as a team, without compromising your dog’s experience.

Our facility is cleaned multiple times a day using vet-grade, fear-free disinfectants, and every dog’s feeding, medication, and care instructions are logged and double-checked.
